Recently, I’ve had to take a short break from the site due to one of the revenue streams that helped keep the lights on shutdown without any way to stop it. Thanks again, Automattic, the company that now owns Tumblr (as of 2019).
It’s things like Tumblr’s tipping systems going away and a few other factors out of control that have forced me to become more creative and start shilling my Ko-Fi more and more.
Another method I’ve had to keep things going is to use Creative Commons artwork, so I’d like to thank a friend of mine who’ll remain anonymous who pointed out that NewGrounds has a bunch of Plus Sized artwork that is licensed under Creative Commons. Which I am currently using in this post to make it more interesting to read but not break the bank getting art commissioned.
So let’s talk about some of the things coming out for the site.
Firstly, I’ve been able to find someone who’d be able to rig my Live2D model (Just need art finished) so I can start doing that style of plus-sized content.
I’ve tried multiple new types of soda, chips, and so on, so I have about 17 reaction posts ready to post at any time.
I am also glad to say a cosplay model wants me to help create a set of images for a possible photobook to play into her brand or style, so that is very exciting, if not making me a tad nervous since I have never edited or done page layout for a photobook before.
I am sorry to any readers who have been trying to check out the site and saw nothing; we are going to have a lot more content on the way.
