The Trailer Park Boys are the fictionalized lives of Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, and Mike Smith, who respectively portrayed Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles in this beloved mockumentary, which began as a short film in 1999 and lived on for 12 main seasons, 105 episodes, 3 movies, 3 spin-offs, and an animated series that, to this day, is still going strong.

The series follows the main three Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles on their crazy and often illegal adventures, meeting iconic people like Noel Fielding [Member of the British Comedy Troupe: The Mighty Boosh], Alex Lifeson [Guitarist for the band Rush], and even Rap and Weed icon Snoop Dogg, who make appearances throughout the franchise’s long history.

I would recommend the series to anyone who’s not seen it, but I know this isn’t why you are there; you want my thoughts on the snack food.

I’ll be really blunt; these are some of the best damn chips I’ve had in a long time. And that’s saying something, as I used to only enjoy ketchup chips; that was the only flavor that did anything for me, so I’ve got a really strong opinion on what it takes to make a good ketchup chip flavor, and these chips take the damn cake.

They remind me of some hybrid between Hickory Sticks and Old Dutch with a really strong flavor that you don’t taste right away.

Something I hated in recent years was how brands like Lay’s cut back on the ketchup flavoring, so these chips are a nice change from the usual disappointment I’ve felt in recent years.

In closing, if you are looking for your ideal chips for when you’re fucking wasted on beer or stoned off your ass, I really think you should give them a try.
